I approach coparenting counseling as an opportunity to
help parties in making collaborative decisions.
For the past 20 years, I have developed and established a reputation as a thorough, fair, and objective evaluator of custody. In relationship with Courts throughout Western PA, I have worked hard to cultivate a working relationship with attorneys and judges alike.
As a custody evaluator, I have unique experience in understanding the complexities of family conflict, divorce, and its impact upon children.
In the role of a coparenting counselor, I seek to bring the experiences of a trained evaluator along with the compassion necessary to help parties move through unresolved dissension, trauma, violence, and parenting differences for purposes of co-raising their children. I prioritize the safety of the parties to ensure everyone understands expectations and shows respect within the counseling relationship.
For effective results, parties will be encouraged to participate in a minimum of four appointments. To preserve neutrality and avoid efforts by one party to seek alignment, I always will meet with both parties together, whether virtually or in person.
